Passport Silver is awarded to organisations whose entire National Highways workforce is Passport-carded and, where relevant, have completed the Highways Common Induction. The certificate is awarded by Malcolm Dare at the Highways Engagement Council, and a digital badge is also available on request.
Every organisation with a highways workforce can get the silver award, no matter how big or small.
If your organisation already meets the requirements, you can apply for Passport Silver right now. If not, here is what you need to do:
Step 1: Add Worker Records and Pay Subscriptions
The first thing you need to do is register your entire highways workforce onto the Passport system and pay their subscription.
You’ll learn how to add worker records as part of the Mitie training – if you need to attend a course, contact Mitie:

Telephone: 0330 726 0225
Step 2: Book the Highways Common Induction
Booking the HCI is easy and only takes a few minutes. Click here to learn more about booking the HCI.
Step 3: Apply
Once you have registered your workers and they have all completed the HCI, download this form, complete it and email it to Highways.Passport@nationalhighways.co.uk

Once you've applied, we'll ensure what you report matches the data in the system. If it does, you'll receive the award at the next Highways Engagement Council.
